What is Composite?
Inspired by NASA – Extruded for Your Projects
Composite means combining materials in such a way that they develop new and superior properties together. This principle was pioneered by NASA in the 1970s. We have advanced the concept and transformed it into a patented process that is now available for your projects.
From Panels to Profiles
Composite panels have long been established. We have taken the next step: with our technology, composite profiles are produced continuously, cost-effectively, and with high precision. This opens up entirely new applications – efficient, sustainable, and reliable.
More than Just Material Blending
Composite means more than simply combining different materials. The decisive factor is not only which material is used, but where it acts within the cross-section:
-
Zones without shear load are filled with softer materials.
-
Insulation zones are equipped with thermal insulating materials.
-
Areas under tensile load are reinforced with tough, robust materials.
-
Load-bearing materials are positioned far from the neutral axis – maximizing the “Steiner contribution” and achieving the highest bending stiffness.
In this way, the right amount of material is always placed at the mechanically correct location – never too much, never too little.
The result: optimized cross-sections – unmatched both physically and economically.
